HE WHO HAS EYES TO SEE... LET HIM SEE
When the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch...
In another forum, composed of people who have been very successful in their professional careers, the discussion of Trump and Biden often still focuses on insignificant minutia - meaningless, superficial fluff - and ignores the giant monoliths of truth sitting there in plain view - the elephants in the room.
As I've noted previously, for those possessed of a few firing synapses and even a smidgeon of intellectual, moral and spiritual grit illuminating their minds, the political environment in America has never been simpler, clearer or more easily understood. Never more black and white, never before characterized more dramatically by the great eternal chasm that divides right from wrong, truth from lies, reality from fantasy, good from evil, light from darkness.
This profound contrast has never been on display more dramatically than in the corrupt, evil Democrat Left's reaction to the Supreme Court's Monday ruling on presidential immunity. This ruling in essence concluding that, as has been understood since the beginning of the country, every president, not just Trump, has immunity from prosecution for his official acts, but no immunity for unofficial acts. The responsibility for making the first-line distinction between those two kinds of acts SCOTUS passed back down to the inferior courts. All good. All constitutional.
This was a ruling that was critically necessary to protect not just former president Trump but the integrity and viability of the Presidency itself - and, indeed, the whole structure of our government based on separation of powers. Yet, in response, because the ruling benefits Trump as a former president (as well as all past and future presidents) and partially blocks their ongoing lawfare against him, the Left simply went berserk.
The ruling the Left wanted, though it would have destroyed the Presidency, would have allowed them to continue their legal assault against Trump, which was all that mattered to them. To hell with the Presidency. To hell with the Constitution. To hell with protecting the established order and balance of our government. Utterly ignoring the substance of the ruling - indeed outright lying about it - the Left, by all the media means at their disposal, have proceeded to viciously attacked the Court, claimed it was in the tank for Trump and MAGA, and had crowned the President King and established him forever as a tyrant and dictator who can kill anyone with impunity.
All utterly ridiculous.
As I watched and listened to the lies and gross deceit being poured out through the leftist liberal media over the past two days, I was, on the one hand, utterly disgusted at their bold-faced prevarications - lies and distortions that any decent, modestly informed person could certainly see through - but, on the other, pleased to see these corrupt monsters, in their desperation, crawling out of their holes, hoisting their true colors, presenting the people with an unmistakable opportunity to see their true faces and eyes and recognize them for the traitorous illegitimi they truly are.
Simply stated, the leftist traitors among us - and this, in my opinion, includes every last member of the Democrat Party - indeed, everyone who is prepared to vote for the corrupt, doddering, demented, traitorous sock puppet Biden - have absolutely no regard for objective truth, hold the Constitution in contempt - indeed consider it an obstacle to their ambitions - have not a patriotic bone in their bodies, and, spitting on the rule of law, will do whatever they think necessary, no matter how lawless, to obtain power and keep it permanently.
Power, indeed, is their sole objective. They have no loyalty to or reverence for our brilliant system of constitutional government with its inspired separation of powers. They have no regard for the grand object of this form of government - the protection of the God-given inalienable rights of the people. In pursuit of absolute power, they have and will continue to trample on the rights and freedoms of the people and not give it a second thought.
But wait! Can't we just sit down and have a reasonable discussion with these folks? They're Americans, too, aren't they?
No, they're not. Not one of them could honestly swear an oath of allegiance to the Constitution. Those who have done so have lied - Joe Biden being the quintessential example. No one who is a demonstrated enemy of the Constitution can claim to be a bonafide American. Not in spirit or truth. Not in my humble opinion.
We are far, far beyond honest differences of opinion. These people are traitors, not a loyal opposition. Their opposition is seditious and treasonous. It seeks to destroy and tear down, not build up and reinforce. They are enemies of this great nation and are actively working against the people's best interests - and, like the Terminator, they just won't stop. They will never stop until they are stopped.
Driven by their lust for power, locked into their evil ambitions, they seek the overthrow of our constitutional Republic. They are beyond the reach of reasoned argument. Losing elections - should they be unable to win by cheating - won't stop them. Short of their coming hard up against the unyielding wall of the people, nothing will stop them. If they can - if we let them - they will burn the country down before they will allow the people to take power from their hands.
That, I believe, is what we are up against. Nothing less - and, I think, until we see the threat in just those stark terms, we will have failed to accurately define the problem and be unable to conceive of an effective solution.
Accordingly, there are just two big elephants in our national room. Each has a track record. One seeks to do good for and build up America, the other seeks to bring evil upon the people and tear the country down. The former seeks to maintain the Founders' inspired form of constitutional government designed to preserve and protect God-given individual human liberty. The latter seeks the overthrow of that great bulwark of liberty and the permanent subjugation of the people under its unassailable, absolute power.
Recognizing and understanding the differences between these two power centers is not rocket science, but it does require at least a modest intellectual, moral and spiritual endowment. You know, the sort of qualities of character in the people the Founders said would be essential to the survival of America as a free society:
“Only a virtuous people are capable of freedom. The more vicious nations become, the more they have need of masters.” - Ben Franklin
“Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.” - John Adams
“If a nation expects to be ignorant and free, in a state of civilization, it expects what never was and never will be.” - Thomas Jefferson
Accordingly, the great question being asked among us today - since everything, even our very lives may be at stake, arguably the most deadly, existential question our people have ever had to answer - does not concern the nature of these two powerful forces at work among us. The character and intent of each - right vs. wrong, truth vs. lies, reality vs. fantasy, good vs. evil - could not possibly be more clearly on display.
The real question - the test America faces - is, who can see it?
Who has eyes for the truth?
Do you?
Right vs. wrong, truth vs. lies, reality vs. fantasy, order vs. chaos, law vs. lawlessness, justice vs. injustice, patriots vs. traitors, light vs. darkness, good vs. evil, happiness vs. misery, God vs. the Godless...
Life is a test. You'll choose, like it or not - and you'll choose based on the stuff you're made of.
If you can be fooled, you will be...
These are the times that try men's souls...
