Speaking of the purported obligation of federal, state or local governments to provide for the needs of illegal aliens - with money that comes out of our pockets - a participant in another forum says,
"There are clearly those who feel strongly on both sides of this issue."
Yes, and some people are informed, and some people are ignorant, some people understand what America is, and others do not. Some people are wise, some are fools.
Something far more profound is at stake in this business than just what happens to some number of law-breaking illegal aliens. The very existence of the United States of America as a law-abiding society hangs in the balance. The marvelous, free, prosperous, powerful and secure nation our brilliant Founders and forefathers bequeathed us is a creation of the rule of law and is sustained by the rule of law.
You want to kill America? Kill the rule of law.
The real question, then, is not whether these illegal alien lawbreakers should be supported at the people's expense. The real question is, shall the rule of law - the lifeblood of the American nation - prevail or be trampled underfoot as the Democrats have done since they stole their way into power in 2020.
Our borders are established and maintained by the rule of law. As Donald Trump said sometime back with reference to immigration law and the border crisis, "Either the law means something, or it doesn't. If we don't have borders, we don't have a nation."
No law, no borders, no nation...
What’s left?
With very few exceptions, if the constitutional rule of law is to be re-established in America - and I say "re-established" because it has been trashed by the lawless Democrats since 2020 - Trump's promise to implement the largest deportation of illegals in history must be carried out - and it can be easily done without breaking down doors or hauling people off in boxcars as the Democrats suggest - lying, brutal images they want to pawn off on us in their effort to prevent the removal of illegals and make Trump appear a heartless villain.
Push the right buttons and the illegals will magically self-deport. They will go home of their own accord.
It is important to state clearly here what should be glaringly, screamingly obvious to anyone with a few functioning brain cells. The Democrats are the party of lawlessness, while constitutional conservatives - Trump and his MAGA supporters - are the rule of law party. Putting that another way, the lawless Democrats are the party of doom for America, while Trump and his supporter are the party of law, order and hope.
The distinctions could not possibly be more dramatic. The time is coming very shortly when each one of us will have to decide on which side of this great divisive chasm we will stand - law on one side, lawlessness on the other. The stakes for America in the November election could not possibly be clearer, the alternatives more blatant, or the consequences more explosive.
If America ceases to be a nation ruled by law - the law of the people, the duly constituted constitutional law of the land - the road to chaos lies open before us. If the world sees the rule of law down in America, the erstwhile Shining City on a Hill, once a beacon of liberty lighting up the darkness of pervasive tyranny - if America becomes a force for evil rather than good - the world will become a very different and far more vicious and oppressive habitat for mankind.
What Sir Thomas More said of England is equally true of America and the whole world:
"If the law be down, such a wind will blow in the land that no man can stand."
Reducing all this to its essence, the rule of law is all that stands between mankind and chaos. That's the choice for us here in America - shall the rule of law prevail or be thrown down - not whether law-breaking aliens should feed out of the public trough.
What will you vote for in November? What, not who. It isn’t really a contest between two persons - two radically different candidates. You’ll pick between two intellectual, moral and spiritual universes, one of light and constructive dynamics, and one of darkness and destruction. Your real choices will be these:
Right vs. wrong, truth vs. lies, reality vs. fantasy, knowledge vs. ignorance, law vs. lawlessness, justice vs. injustice, order vs. chaos, patriotism vs. treason, liberty vs. tyranny, light vs. darkness, good vs. evil, happiness vs. misery, God vs. the Godless…
If you understand your vote in those stark terms, you'll be more likely to make the right choice.
If you can be fooled, you will be…
These are the times that try men’s souls…
