In the face of the millions upon millions of unvetted illegal aliens that the lawless Biden/Harris regime has deliberately allowed to inundate America, Donald Trump, with a stunning, overwhelming election victory in his back pocket, has declared his intention to implement "the greatest mass deportation of illegals ever seen in America".
The Dems, of course - obsessed with power above all else - not giving a diddly damn about what it would do to their fellow citizens, having deliberately and maliciously brought this illegal immigrant invasion hell down on the heads of the American people - now scream bloody murder when Trump promises to fix this unmitigated disaster by enforcing the law and deporting those who came here illegally - absolutely necessary if the integrity of the rule of law is to be restored after, in the eyes of the American people and the whole world, it has been trashed for four years under the illegitimate, seditious, treasonous, election-stealing Biden/Harris regime.
In their unrestrained lust for absolute, permanent power, having inflicted this great and enduring damage on the people and nation, the Democrats now conjure up images of jackbooted SS troops breaking down doors, dragging wailing women and whimpering babies out into the street, herding them like cattle into boxcars to be sent back across the border into oblivion - all deliberately reminiscent of the measures the Nazis used to arrest and haul Jews to the death camps.
"How dare you! Have you no heart? No compassion?"
Again, as they worked systematically and steadfastly to create this problem, there was no heart, no compassion on the Democrats' part for the sundry evils this massive illegal invasion has inflicted on our own people - the rapes and murders of young women, the lawless behavior of invaders who share none of our values, tens of thousands of fentanyl deaths - premeditated murders of Americans - the infiltration of tens of thousands of military-age terrorists and saboteurs, the overloading of our medical, educational, policing and social services, and the billions upon billions of the people's dollars urinated away on all manner of benefits accorded these illegal invaders while the American people pay for it all and suffer the consequences. All of this suicidal havoc, which the Democrats silently ignore and applaud, amounts to treason against the United States and its people on an almost unimaginable scale and the virtual collapse of our traditional order of constitutional, rule-of-law government.
Thank heaven the American people, in their collective wisdom, as expressed in their Electoral College and popular vote majorities, understood what was being done to them, kicked the Democrats' seditious, traitorous, sorry heinies out of power, and have reinstalled at our head a courageous patriot committed to do everything he can for our great country her citizens.
But still... notwithstanding all the injury the treasonous Democrats have done to the country and people by facilitating this massive illegal invasion... what, realistically, can we do about the tens of millions of illegals, many of whom have been here for years? What can be done that won't trample upon basic American standards of decency and compassion? Even with presidential power, what can Donald Trump do?
Is it not true that, practically speaking, without something approaching the rigorous, forceful means the Democrats paint in horrific colors to horrify the people, there really is no way to locate, get into custody and transport back across the border the tens of millions of people who broke our laws by coming here illegally and continue to break them by staying? Though the destination would not be concentration camps but their home countries, can we possibly resort to measures akin to those the Nazis used to round up and deport people in their millions?
If we are not prepared to knock down doors and haul people out into the street, are we not stuck with this problem? Have the treasonous Democrats not then been successful in presenting us, as Americans, as decent human beings, with an intractable, unsolvable problem? Will we not, as the Democrats hope, simply be forced to reduce our standard of living, endure the lawlessness, and continue to live with and pay for indefinitely this massive invasion of illegals - people they have brought here in the hope of securing more Democrat votes?
The answer is... wait for it...
NO!
There is an easy way forward that will completely solve the problem of the illegal alien presence in America without any compulsive measures of any sort being brought to bear. No breaking down doors, hauling people into the street, putting them behind bars, loading them into boxcars...
The one problem with the solution I am about to describe is that it will be so thoroughly, sweepingly effective that the Trump Administration, or some within it, may not have the courage to implement it.
The answer is found in any Economics 101 course and is perhaps the supreme motivating principle and dynamic of all human economic behavior:
SUPPLY AND DEMAND
The aspect of this two-fold dynamic of human behavior pertinent to the illegal alien population in America is this:
The supply of anything responds to the demand for it. If demand is high, the supply will increase in response. If demand decreases, the supply will decrease in response. If there is no demand at all, the supply will cease to exist.
In the case of the illegal alien population of America, the demand function is employment available to illegal aliens. The supply function is the illegal alien population that responds to the demand for their employment in the country.
You can probably see where I am going with this...
REMOVE DEMAND. IF THERE IS NO DEMAND FOR THE EMPLOYMENT OF ILLEGALS, THERE WILL BE NO SUPPLY OF ILLEGALS TO TAKE UP THAT EMPLOYMENT.
Since people have to work to live, if there is no demand for the employment of illegals in America, the illegals who are here will have to go where they can find employment. Most likely, that would mean a necessary - and voluntary - return to their country of origin.
How, then, does one control downward or eliminate altogether American demand for illegal employment?
USE THE RULE OF LAW
America is a nation based on the rule of law. Simply pass draconian laws prohibiting the employment of illegal aliens and attach to those laws draconian, mandatory penalties that no employer in his right mind would be willing to risk. Just shooting from the hip, say a $500,000 fine and six months in jail for each offense. If an employer was found guilty of employing 5 illegal aliens, he personally and/or his company would be subject to a fine of $2,500,000 and 2 1/2 years in jail. Again, no rational employer would expose himself or his company to such risks.
Now, with the demand for illegal employment thus dried up, what would happen to the existing supply? Think of this in terms of the actual people involved. If these people could no longer make a living in America, they would be forced to go where they can - most likely back to their home countries. There would be no need to break in their doors, haul them off, put them in cages, load them on buses at gun point and drive them across the border. They would self-deport, as if by magic, without compulsory means and at no cost to the people of America - unless we choose to help them cover some of the costs of their departure.
Obviously, careful planning would be required, but here are some quick and dirty ideas as to how such a program could be implemented:
1. Immediately discontinue all federal financial support to illegal aliens. No more $500/night hotel rooms paid for by the people. No more free food, free cell phones, etc. No more free transportation to any desired destination within the country.
2. Deny illegal aliens access to presently overloaded social services - education, medical, etc. - thus restoring to American citizens the full access to these services they pay for but are presently denied by the tidal wave of illegals.
3. Pass at the federal level the aforementioned draconian employment laws and attendant penalties enforceable in all 50 states.
4. Implement a rock-solid system for verifying citizenship - such as a tougher, mandatory version of E-Verify. Every employer would be by law required to use it and provide citizenship or other legal verification for every employee. An adequate defense against the charge of employing an illegal alien would be E-Verify confirmation of that employee’s legal status.
5. After the aforesaid employment regulations and penalties were passed into law, there would be a grace period of, say, 6 months or a year, before the laws and penalties would come into effect. This would give companies a fair amount of time to get their employment situations in order and their illegal alien employees time to prepare to leave the country. Families with US-born children would have to make their own decisions as to who would go and who would stay. Illegal parents would probably not want to be separated from their US citizen children, so the whole family would likely leave. No SS brute tearing a mother away from her child...
6. Change the immigration laws regarding anchor babies and their relatives so as to deny citizenship to any baby born to parents not legally within the country. Put an end to chain migration.
7. There could be set up a special review board to consider expeditiously special cases or appeals.
8. Those illegals who could show a history of good behavior during their time in the US, contributing something to the country, would still be required to leave but could be allowed to go to the front of the line in applying to be legally readmitted. The law matters and must be seen to matter...
9. The criminal element, the terrorists and saboteurs among the illegals - those who would not necessarily be responsive to the supply and demand forces working on regular employment - would, as Donald Trump has said, become the province and first priority of US law enforcement.
With measures similar to these in place - which, except in the cases of criminals, would require no active enforcement - no tracking down, no arrests or incarceration of illegals - the incentives that presently drive illegal immigration would cease to exist and the disincentives would be massive and overwhelming. American citizens would then feel the earth shake beneath their feet as millions upon millions of self-deporting illegal aliens thundered their way toward the border.
I invite any reader to bring a counter argument as to why this approach would not work as billed - simple, compassionate, peaceful, inexpensive - and absolutely effective. Indeed, as noted, I believe its one potential flaw is that, if rigorously implemented, it would work too well and extend its reach so thoroughly into every employment nook and cranny that some faux conservatives among us would be distressed by its near-total effectiveness. In other words - apart from treasonous Democrats who would never agree to it but, thankfully, are now effectively sidelined - there may be some out there - particularly RINO politicians - who pretend to be in favor of a solution to the illegal immigrant population problem but, secretly having other priorities, are unwilling to go the whole way to get the job done.
