NO-BRAINER REDUX
In another forum, one participant is a very high-ranking former New York banking executive, now retired. I’ll call him Burt. Burt, who himself is not a Trump supporter, recently argued that bankers he knew who had heard Trump pitch his business deals would probably not vote for him. He made no mention of any specific objection these bankers might have had, any impropriety they might have observed, nor did he note the fact that Trump’s business was much sought after by New York and international banks - all of whom made good money on him, including the banks Trump supposedly took advantage of (according to the ongoing court case) by overstating the value of his assets in order to get better loan terms - exactly the kind of back-and-forth, due diligence negotiation that goes on every day in the real estate business between developers and the banks that fund them.
Here is my response to Burt’s comments in that forum:
With all due respect, with his comments on Trump, Burt here gives us an excellent example of badly missing the point.
Regarding a critical real-world assessment of Trump vs. Biden or any other putative Democrat presidential candidate that might replace Biden in the 2024 election, none of what Burt says regarding Trump is relevant. Burt has done nothing but express his personal dislike for Trump - which sentiment he is certainly entitled to but is entirely extraneous in the context of the nation's dire circumstances - irrelevant to a realistic consideration of what means we might employ to extricate ourselves, and whom we might vote for as president to have any hope of pulling our national ox out of the deadly mire the Democrats have treasonously led us into.
Really only a few hard realities should rationally enter into this equation - and let me say again, this, as I argued a while back in a Substack post, is truly a "NO-BRAINER" - a rudimentary test of one's basic survival instincts, one's ability to understand when one's fundamental well-being or even one's life is being threatened, and one's ability to make rational choices with life-and-death ramifications in a set of circumstances that, unless they are soon and forcefully addressed, could cost us everything.
Here's what matters:
A rational and accurate definition of the problem - an understanding of the utter, unmitigated, potentially existential catastrophe the illegitimate, election-stealing, America-hating, lawbreaking, treasonous, seditious, globalist Biden regime has brought down on the heads of the American people. These traitors have brought us to a point where we stand to lose everything that matters...
With the problem accurately defined, we can now proceed to an effective solution: Donald J. Trump is the only person on the political scene - certainly the only presidential candidate - who understands our precarious state of affairs, speaks directly and forcefully to the specific problems and challenges we face - the border invasion, the energy crisis, the risks of a new world war and others - and tells us specifically what he will do as president to address these problems - including unleashing the nation's energy industry ("Drill, baby drill!) - the mass deportation of the millions of unvetted illegal aliens who have been allowed to flood into our country, are sapping away our resources, threating our lives, jeopardizing the very fabric of our society - the immediate negotiated end to the Ukraine war - shutting down Iran and backing up Israel in their existential conflict with Hamas. Moreover, Trump has proven he has the spine to get the job done.
In electing Donald Trump in November, we will not be buying a pig in a poke - an unknown commodity whose actions as president will be completely unpredictable. We will be getting a man who does what he says he will do, as he did in his first term. We will be getting a former President of the United States who has a track record in the presidency now chiseled in marble -
Trump Administration Accomplishments – The White House (archives.gov)
- there for every rational, honest person to review. Setting aside petty, supercilious quibbles about the man's imperfect personality and person life - he who has no sin, let him cast the first stone - we know this man is a patriot. We know how he orients and commits himself to and works for the good of traditional America. We know because we have seen him do it.
Thus, as we contemplate our dire present circumstances, we know what Trump will do for the country when he is re-elected because he has done it before - great good that benefited Americans across the board - good that was deliberately and systematically torpedoed and undone by the election-stealing, corrupt bribee and traitor Biden and his America-hating globalist puppet masters... people whose objective is to upend America (see my Substack posts "Treason at the Border - What's Really Behind It?", and "Will Christian Charity Destroy America?").
A chaotic, shattered America can then be whittled down to size, shoved into line with the other nations the globalists have gutted or are in process of gutting (Germany France and England jump to mind), and rendered just another subjugated, disempowered, impoverished people to be dictatorially ruled over by our elitist globalist betters - "You'll own nothing, have no privacy, and life will never be better!".
As I did in my Substack post "NO-BRAINER", I again here question the intellectual, moral and spiritual substance of those who can't or won't see how simple this really is.
Not rocket science:
Right vs. wrong, truth vs. lies, reality vs. fantasy, law vs. lawlessness, justice vs. injustice, order vs. chaos, liberty vs. tyranny, light vs. darkness, survival vs. oblivion...
As I've argued in the past, we owe Donald Trump a great debt of gratitude for serving as a lightning rod among the people, splitting the political ether along intellectual, moral and spiritual lines. He has made things simple for us - for decent, rational, fair-minded people. Their camo gone and their cover blown, we now get to see the true faces and eyes of America's enemies. All it takes is eyes to see and ears to hear. If you can't see what's happening in such simplistic, starkly contrasting terms, you'd better think again… Though our enemies would like to obfuscate and make you think “it’s complicated”, it really is just that simple. A critical key to addressing the problem is understanding just how simple it really is.
Accordingly, Burt, since I consider you to be a rational, reasonable person - someone who cares what happens to his country - and no matter what may be your personal likes or dislikes concerning Trump - I don't believe you have any choice but to vote for him in November - even though you may feel it necessary to hold your nose while doing so. Will you stand for or against America? The choice is no more complicated than that.
Again, it's a "NO-BRAINER".
What else is there? Really nothing but irrelevant fluff.
Right vs. wrong, truth vs. lies, reality vs. fantasy, law vs. lawlessness, order vs. chaos, liberty vs. tyranny, patriots vs. traitors, light vs. darkness, good vs. evil, survival vs. oblivion, God vs. the Godless…
You have a choice, and, one way or another, you’ll make it…
If you can be fooled, you will be…
These are the times that try men’s souls…
