You have for some time, for good or ill, been on a distribution list I use to send out occasional articles, information or my own thoughts that I think worthy of your time to read and consider.

I have in the past used my gmail account - rtjslc@gmail.com - for that purpose. For purely logistical reasons, I have opened a substack.com account under the title of “TorqTalk”. Substack simply provides an easier way from me to send things to you than the old way via gmail.

Accordingly, in the future, rather than receive emails from me through gmail, you will now receive a notification from Substack.com that something from me is available.

Please also be aware that you are welcome and encouraged to respond critically to anything I might send out. You can do so via Substack, or send me a private email. All views are welcome. As someone has rightly observed, “In the absence of controversy, the truth cannot be honed.”
