Regarding the Newsweek piece you sent along, let me say that anyone who thinks Russia should or will abandon the ethnically Russian populations of Crimea and the Donbas is grossly - and probably deliberately - ignorant of the real dynamics driving the Ukrainian conflict. It will not happen because the ethnically Russian populations of those regions wish to be part of Russia, not Ukraine. And, as to your guess that the author of this piece is a warmonger, I totally agree.
